Recent ActivityClass Vision: We are cool kids who set a good example for younger students through our super behavior!
Class Announcements School StoreOur room mom has unfortunatley let our class. We have one parent that is willing to help with the school store but she is very busy and could use some help. If you can volunteer one day every other week to help run the school store it would greatly help our class out.
We are also in need of donations for the store. Gently used and dollar store items are great. Other good items are pencils, erasers, and stickers. We are almost out of supplies. SuppliesPlease make sure your student has enough supplies. check to if glue sticks or pencils need to be replenished.
MathWe are currently working on multiplication. We are having weekly quizzes over each multiple. Students earn a star for their ring of flash cards and ice cream for the multiplication ice cream party at the end of the unit. Students should have brought home flash cards with each set of multiples on a different card. Families are encouraged to purchase individual flash cards in order to study the facts. We are now sending home a multiplication log along with the reading log. Students should study their facts nightly.
ScienceIn Science we are currently working on life process and animal adaptations. Please continue to study flash cards and the notes and graphic organizers in your notebook.
Social StudiesWe have just begun a unit on Ancient Greece and Rome. Students will learn about how the contributions of these ancient civilizations effect society today.
